Baby, It's Cold Outside!

This is, in my opinion, an absolutely essential documentary from Britain's BBC 2. It has been made available online by Information Clearing House.

The doc concerns the manufacture of consensus, in this case through politicians weaving tales of monsters outside the door and promising everlasting protection from them if only you'll just do your patriotic (sic) duty and support them in this endeavor. It gives a great amount of capsulized history regarding the current battle of the Gods between the "Christian" West and the "Muslim" Middle East.
